We are recently looking for an 

Offshore Wind Platform Inspector (m/f)
Location: Hamburg or Bremen



  • Manage and conduct design reviews of offshore structures/platforms for substations
  • Conduct initial audits of quality management systems at the manufacturers’ facilities 
  • Perform regular quality inspections on- and offshore during manufacturing, installation and commissioning of offshore structures
  • Develop and maintain a network of special service providers and engineers in areas not covered by UL/DEWI (e.g. for HVAC-and utility systems) or as support during peak demand 
  • Develop and maintain a reliable relationship to our customers and to other teams within UL/DEWI



  • Master/Bachelor in Engineering in structural design or naval architecture or comparable degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role for offshore wind projects
  • Excellent knowledge in codes, standards and practices applicable to offshore platform design, inspection and installation
  • Knowledge about electrical systems and auxiliary systems (e.g. HVAC), in particular understanding of their interfaces to the substructure and topside of offshore platforms
  • Applicable offshore trainings to perform inspections offshore 
  • Good MS Office skills, fluent in spoken and written English and German
