Project Engineer - Renewable Energy Systems
Location : Neu Isenburg (Hessen)

Job Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, independently manages execution and timely completion of engineering projects related to the Inverters, Converters for Use with Distributed Energy Resources according UL and IEC standards by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, establishing test programs for product investigations, analyzing test programs for adequacy and sequence, examining samples for compliance with UL requirements, and preparing reports for clients.

In a project-related, international team, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Establishe test programs, examine samples, coordinate laboratory activities and providing instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians, and establishing completion dates for product investigations
  • Product Verification and Compliance Renewable Energy Systems Products based on the most recent standards, like UL1741 and/or UL/IEC 62109
  • Determine Grid Code Compliance for Inverters
  • In individual cases, conduct testing in internal and external laboratories
  • Planning and reviewing the entire project of the approval and execution of product tests in close cooperation with our global customers
  • Work with oversea technical expert on complex products and standard interpretation

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in Product Testing/ Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or training as a state-certified technician with a comparable discipline 
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in Testing and Certification business
  • Good Knowledge about Inverters Technology 
  • Knowledge about current National and International Standards which applies for such product types
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in areas of expertise, including application to complex,   new, or unusual products.
  • A team player who is able to multi-task, with strong sense of customer focus and highly motivated
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and German B2+
  • Travel within Europe as needed to support business and technical development up to 30 %
